About postpartum post
The postpartum period is one of the most transformative — and often loneliest — times in a parent's life. Parent groups can be great for support, but sometimes you need just one person, not a room full of them.
We're here to connect new and expecting parents in the neighborhood for coffee, a playdate, or an understanding chat. We'll warmly introduce you to one person each month, sharing their name and contact along with local activities handpicked for your families.
Postpartum Post was created for people who want to build deep connections — but at the busy pace of early parenthood. We created a subscription to signal a committment to the community, even if life gets in the way. Subscriptions are flexible by design: skip any month, pause when life gets full, cancel anytime. In one click, you pick the topic, we find the match, and deliver the introduction in a delightful little letter to your inbox.
How matching works
Every match is made by our own purpose-built algorithm (no AI), reviewed with care, and delivered right to your inbox. Our goal is to make conversation feel easy between you both.
Fill in your profile
Tell us your language, when you're free, and your child's birth month or due date. The more you share, the better we can match you. (But we'll still match you regardless!)
Choose your topic
On the 1st of each month, we ask whether you'd like to participate and what you'd like to connect over — coffee, a playdate, or another topic around parenthood. You can also choose to skip that month, at no cost to you.
We find your best match
We compare your profile with every active member and score compatibility. Language comes first, then shared availability, topic, and — based on your preference — how close you live or how similar your children's ages are.
Receive your Post
We introduce you both by email: a warm letter with just the name and contact of the match. We don't share your personal details; that's up to you!
